The free-forever model

We do not charge camps, and we never will. That is only possible because donors and partners fund the work instead. Your support is what keeps access open for every camp, regardless of budget.

We do not do this alone

TSN works alongside a broader network of governments, associations, fellow nonprofits, and advocates who are championing camp safety at every stage, from legislation through to implementation. We provide the knowledge, tools, and community. Together, we're covering the full set of barriers to safer camps.

Cost is the single biggest barrier to camp safety. Around 26 million children attend camp each year in North America, and 87 percent of camp staff are seasonal, which leaves small and mid-sized camps stretched thin on continuity, training, and expertise. Safety resources are usually the first thing to get cut.

We built The Safety Navigator to remove that barrier entirely.

We are early, and we are moving fast. In our first season, 822 people have joined the platform, reaching an estimated 404,000 children, with 67 free safety resources available today. Our goal is to reach 7,500 camps and nearly 9.7 million children by 2029.
